Receiving and giving support can be profoundly healing. In Dr. Daniella Jackson’s multiple-case study, adult children of alcoholics were able to discover the meaning of recovery from parental alcoholism and other family members’ addiction problems.
On Saturday 02/11/17 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, Dr. Daniella Jackson will be presenting her own study about the positive experiences of adult children of alcoholics after long-term attendance in a twelve-step program. Based on a qualitative research design, Dr. Daniella Jackson’s study captured ACOAs’ positive experiences in their own voices.
